The pre-wired installation conduit FMP20 (3xYE + POF) from Kober offers you an inexpensive pre-installation of a standardized network infrastructure for all IP services in your home.
Home network connections are installed in accordance with today's demands. If you require more network connections in the future, additional outlets can be connected to the already prepared network.

As part of a general refurbishment the hotelier decided to also renew the whole IT infrastructure. Installing small wireless clusters (one per room) ensures maximum supply yet low electromagnetic exposure.

Network Installation with POF in a dental office
The installation of the network was planned and installed by electrical contractor Gasser GmbH, Winklern Austria. The decision criterion for the use of POF as network technology was the small cable diameter. This way a complicated new pipe installation could be avoided. The existing power-piping in the doctor’s office and to the basement could be used. All in all 500m POF cable (RH4002), eight (8) flush-mounted switches (OMS121UP), two (2) flush-mounted media converters (OMC100UP) and two (2) 6-port POF switches (OMS126) were installed. The two (2) POF switches in the 19” cabinet were connected to a Gigabit switch using a patch cable. The Internet modem and central network server were connected to that Gigabit switch.
